Today i walked, according to googlemaps, 11 kilometers.  Yup the main reason i went walking was to go birding.  Which worked cause i saw three birds.

So it started with a trip to uptown, with dave harder.  We visited a few stores.  On the way back a Killdeer flew over head. We had to cut the trip short because i had class

Then after class i went to North Campus.  I was following a American Tree Sparrow, trying to see if it was one.  (it was) And it lead me directly to a Northern Flicker.  It was eating ants.  It was much larger than i thought, at least twice the size of Bertha.  Though it was male so i should be comparing it to Bert,

Then on the way back to Grebs I saw a bird in a field.  I kept my eye on it and got closer and closer.  It was a Horned Lark.  I was watching the bird and almost got hit by a car.  Not really but i was not paying attention to the cars in the parking lot.  I am now up to 134
