What a Wonderful Day

We walked to church today.  On they way there, before University Ave. I saw House Sparrows, Cardinals, Cedar Waxwings, Chickadees, Canadian Geese, Mallards and Starlings. So it was a great morning.  When we were right next to University where Laurel Creek Goes under I saw another one.  It looked like a female mallard but it had an all black bill, mallards have orange and black.  It also had lighter coloured legs. So when i got back home i check out my bird books.   It was a Blue-Winged Teal, apparently the third most common duck in north America, but it was the first time that i had seen it. So now i am at 130 different bird species.

Later in the day i saw Crows, Robins and Goldfinches, i love spring
