Well I decided that I would take a little walk to look for birds, was going be in the morning but….. I went up to north campus/columbia lake. At first i was a little bit sad because Columbia lake is still frozen. Then i saw a pair of Lapland Longspurs near the stormwater management ponds.  Then a little bit farther along i saw a flock of White-winged Crossbills.  It was a wonderful walk

I went for a walk through Waterloo park yesterday and saw a beautiful red cardinal.

There was a female cardinal on the bird sanctuary just a few mins ago
