Random thoughts throughout the day

Matt i knew you were going to Japan to get married.  Who is the lucky ‘starbucks’ girl.  I assume that starbucks is code for something else.  And i am sure that cross tower is code for a church steeple.

Congrads.

You should put all the things you want to buy on your wedding registry

marreka:

Had lunch at beacon in Shibuya. Great food. Glad to have gone again.

Sent off more postcards. Watch your mailboxes. Met up with the old Starbucks girls at Cross Tower.

Started drizzling lightly. I refuse to pay money for an umbrella.

I found a maserati and bentley dealership in Tokyo… Pretty cool cars.

Went to the Playstation Signature store. Cool looking store but it was very sparse. Not much stuff in there

Went to the Canadian embassy for the first time. It’s a pretty beautiful building made out of (I can only assume) Canadian rock. There wasn’t much there (I heard there was a café but that was a lie. There is a formal banquet hall, though) but it was nice to see the actual building. I got some cool pictures I’ll upload later

Walked to Tokyo midtown. It started to rain more heavy than it was earlier so I finally caved and bought an umbrella ($5. boo). Went to midtown and walked around the food area for a bit. There’s a super cool foodcourt there! I also went to Dean and Deluca which is an AWESOME store with snacks, deli meats, and a small café. Think Nougat in Kitchener + Vincenzos + modern updated atmosphere. I had a grape and mint soda. Yummy but $5 (Yes, Tokyo is pretty expensive).

Walked to Roppongi Hills from there. I walked around a bit and went to one of the clothes stores, saw some nice stuff and bought nothing (otherwise I would be short at least $200. Oh Tokyo), and looked at the pâtisserie by Joel Robuchon’s restaurant. Yummy stuff. I want to go there for lunch (it’s amazingly fantastic french food).
