Birds keep running into my window.

It’s annoying because every time it happens I jump. Stupid birds.
If you want to stop the birds from running into the windows put bird feeders within 3 feet of them. I know it seems as if this will cause them to hit more, but it does not. You can make them fairly easily, out of milk boxes and suction cups, or you can buy them.

Well I found out that my mom loves Carol Ann Weaver. I mean LOVE. She bought 2 of her CDs. And talked about going to Africa with her.

The New GI-Joe Trailer

Birding in London
Today I went on a birding adventure around my house. I took a hour walk in the ravine, and saw four new bird species. There were so many birds outside, it was a wonderful day. I have now reached 160 different birds.
Birding at Camp
Last week I had the oppurtunity to work at my summer camp for a week. I did some office work, gardening, and I made sure to bird everyday.
I saw 7 new birds species, breaking the 150 barrier. Hermit Thrush, Broad-winged Hawk, Solitary Sandpiper, Brown Thrasher, White Crowned Sparrow, White Throated Sparrow and Blackburnian Warbler. The White Crowned Sparrow was the really prize of the week,...

My New Favourite Shirt Store
So i was just causally surfing the net and i found this wonderful site. It is a whole store made for bird lovers. It has shirts for the number of birds you have seen and numerous different bird shirts. It is awesome!!!

The rail that is being suggested it not true high speed rail. It would not be considered high speed any where outside of North America. The North East corridor is going to be one of the sections of the system. The Corridor takes just as long to drive as it does to take the train. Well today while i was ‘studying’, well you know me. Angie pointed out that there were too people staring at our window and they were not grebel people. They were looking at the Bird Sanctuary for the longest time. They were not looking at bird sanctuary saying ‘what is that??’ But they were pointing at all of the birds. Cheese Shopping Again

Missing Baking Pans
Well as the year is ending we were looking through out baking pans and realized that we were missing some. Yes can you believe that some people would borrow things and not return them. If you have our square baking dish or our muffin tins, please return them.
Song Sparrows
This morning i was in bed not wanting to wake up. i heard a bird song that i did not know what type of bird it was from. I did not want to get up, but the song continued so i did. Outside my window playing in the grass was a song sparrow [138].
I have been talking about birds so much in our apartment that Kevin by himself was able to identify that there was a new bird species around.
Birds At Pilgram Marpeck Bird Sanctuary
As Kevin and I were hanging out in our living room, we saw the bigest bird to ever come to our feeders. It was a Ring Billed Gull, better know as a sea gull. Yes it was trying to get the food from the feeders while hovering.

Bertha's love life
I was informed when i woke up this morning that there actually three woodpeckers around our windows. This means that there could be some dram at the bird feeders.

Bertha, our friendly downy woodpecker who as been visiting us for a few weeks, is in love. We saw Bert earlier today, and they are in love. They were flirting in the bird sanctuary. Love is in the air.
